A doula offers non-clinical educational, emotional, and physical support, along with client advocacy and partner reinforcement. While these services are most commonly provided during the prenatal, birth, and postpartum periods, the same principles can be applied to various aspects of wellness.
As a birth doula, I am a trained, non-medical professional dedicated to providing continuous emotional, physical, and educational support throughout your pregnancy. My goal is to build a trusting relationship where you feel confident asking questions and sharing your concerns as we craft a personalized birth plan together. I am committed to offering constant, customized support and encouragement, ensuring you feel empowered throughout your journey.
Services
Most wait until they find out they are pregnant before finding support. Although the moment you discover you're pregnant is important, so is the preparation leading up to pregnancy. The moment you find out you are pregnant is when your life changes forever. Becoming a new mother is both exciting and scary. There is so much to learn that it can become quite overwhelming. However, with the support of a Certified Birth Doula, you can prepare your mind, spirit, and body for the labor and delivery of your dreams.
We want to support all Black/BIPOC birthing women/people regardless of gender identity, assignment, or expression, serving families of all shapes and sizes, from every walk of life. Single parents, LGBTQ+, adoptive parents, and families welcoming their babies through surrogacy are commonplace for me. I strive to bring the best support to your family, without a specific approach to parenting, as this is your turn to make decisions about what is best for your family.
